I strive for, and obtain, creativity in my portraiture. A portrait is not just a “picture”. It is an investment in your life history and displays your lifestyle. Memories fade, but a portrait stays forever. We never know when God will take us from this earthly home; a portrait is needed, especially of families, to preserve these moments in time. God made us and gave us our own individuality. I bring that out in all forms of portraiture.
 
In the past 15 years I have done numerous weddings, seniors, and families as a part time photographer. I am a member of the Professional Photographer’s Association, Kansas Photographer’s Association, and the Greater Wichita Professional Photographer’s Association. I attend the Kansas Professional Photographer’s School every year to keep up with the latest in technology, especially in this digital world of ours.
 
My profession of teaching in the public school system is at an end and I will be a full time photographer. But, that experience in the educational system has helped me to communicate well with all people. I grew up in Medicine Lodge, Kansas. My husband and I came home to the family farms/ranches in 1980. I have access to several prime spots for photography with many pastures, creeks, bridges, and just beautiful landscape; and, of course, Medicine Lodge is home to the beautiful Gyp Hills. I will go on location to a place of your choosing, including surrounding towns.
